Inspired by the Beauty of Pakistani Truck Art

Truck art ٹرک آرٹ originating back to the 1940s when there was an expansion in trade and transport. Truck owners would design their cars to stand out; especially being gone from home for a long time, it was a way to stay connected and over time it became a source of identity and expression of oneself.

What I find so beautiful is that even though there are recurring symbols and motifs, every truck is designed differently to represent their owner. In a way it’s like a custom tattoo.

In our rendition of truck art, we took many influences from Pakistani, Indian, Islamic and Hindu culture. The classical floral patterns that are in all South Asian cultures. Eyes on the back of the woman’s body as a symbol of protection. Blue for serenity, infinity and godlike energy… and this is to represent the Divine Feminine.

The quote on her back reads:

“Arise, awake and stop not until you achieve your goal.”

Live your life with a purpose. Every day you wake up, use that time to better your inner and outerself… and trust that it’ll workout.
